Clay Art for Essential Oils
For thousands of years, essential oils have been considered an essential health practice, used by mankind for healing. Essential oils come to us from Mother Earth and her wide variety of plants and trees from around the world.
The oils found in leaves, roots, seeds, bark, or fruits of plants and trees are natural and intended to keep each plant and tree healthy by providing protection from insects and other animals. These protective oils are also beneficial for humans, providing protection and healing.
While essential oils are not sold by Energy W.A.V.E. Healing Arts, their use is one of many energy modalities that have been very beneficial for many people. For people with sensitive skin who break out easily with redness or rashes, essential oils may not be as beneficial. In addition, many essential oils can be too strong for placement on the skin and are recommended to be diluted with a carrier oil (such as jojoba or coconut oil, for example).
With issues like sensitive skin or diluting of oils in mind, Penny began creating clay art in which full-strength essential oils can be put onto the clay and aromatherapy benefits obtained without the oils touching a person's skin. This provides another option for personalized aromatherapy. Her art pieces can be found at many craft and vendor shows at the Energy W.A.V.E. booth.
The art pieces are handcrafted from clay and decorated with beads and a variety of themes which can include upcycled pieces of jewelry, charms, and buttons as well as art etchings and impressions onto the clay.
If you are interested in a custom order, please contact Penny either at her Energy W.A.V.E. booth or email to email@example.com to inquire what designs may be available.
Due to the nature of upcycling, the samples below are not necessarily available for purchase but are provided to give clients a general idea of the designs.
